**OEB 54: Biology of the Fungi**

This course explored the fascinating diversity of the kingdom fungi, including evolution, ecology and morphology. All of the major groups of fungi, from smuts to molds, were included. Students used a variety of techniques to learn about these organisms and their activities. There was a weekly laboratory and at least one weekend field trip and several afternoon field trips. In addition, students participated in the Harvard Museum of Natural History's annual [Fabulous Fungi Fair](https://hmnh.harvard.edu/event/fabulous-fungus-fair-0).
