OEB 54: Biology of the Fungi 

This course explored the fascinating diversity of the kingdom fungi, including evolution, ecology and morphology. All of the major groups of fungi, from smuts to molds, were included. Students used a variety of techniques to learn about these organisms and their activities. There was a weekly laboratory and at least one weekend field trip and several afternoon field trips. In addition, students participated in the Harvard Museum of Natural History's annual Fabulous Fungi Fair.
